Richard II, MKA

 

 

 

Designed the Richard II set and costumes for this experimental take of the Shakespearean text worked through the lens of recent Australian politics. 

 

The play was performed in 2014 at the Northcote Town Hall by MKA-Speakeasy as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival. The designs playfully re-positioned archetypal incarnations of wealth, power and status.
