SUSTAINABILITY

Banyule Stormwater Project

Led the conception and development of Melbourne's largest single underground stormwater storage project.

The $7m dollar project funded by State and local government and private organisations delivers about 138 million litres of water a year across three sites in the City of Banyule in Ivanhoe, Greensborough and Rosanna.

It removes 200 tonnes of pollutants a year, irrigates more than 30 hectares of open space and saves $350,000 a year in water costs. It also pioneered an award-winning design with a “double decker” storage system in Greensborough.
